Itinerary

The Doñana National Park is a mosaic of ecosystems that host a unique biodiversity in Europe. Above all, the marsh stands out, of extraordinary importance as a passage, breeding and wintering place for thousands of European and African birds. Unique species that are in serious danger of extinction live in the Park, such as the Iberian imperial eagle and the Iberian lynx.

Doñana is the confluence of a set of ecosystems (beach, dunes, preserves, marshes…) that give this Park a unique personality.

First thing in the morning, we pick up from the hotel/apartment for private transfer to the Doñana visitor center to begin the private tour of the National Park. The tour takes us through the different ecosystems of the precious park. A unique environment where we will have the opportunity to get to know some of the most representative species of fauna and flora. The tour is done in 4×4.

At the end of the tour of about 3 hours, we go for lunch in the Natural Park area, in a traditional Marismeña restaurant (former charcoal workers’ huts), where we can enjoy a lunch of the rich local cuisine. After lunch, we visited the village of El Rocío, the epicenter of one of the most important pilgrimages in Spain. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people from Spain and Europe make a procession to the hermitage of the Virgin of El Rocío. We will visit the hermitage of the Virgin, the marshes and the urban center.

Upon completion, return to the hotel/apartment on the coast
