Private visit to the Seville Fair

For a week Seville lives only for this party. Music, gastronomy, dancing and the desire to have fun create a very special atmosphere.

The April Fair is one of the most international and popular festivals in Seville. Created in 1847 as a livestock fair, over time the festive aspect of the event ended up taking over the commercial part, until it became an essential event for Sevillians. For a week, the more than a thousand booths installed in the fairgrounds (most of them private) become the second home of the inhabitants of this city and the surrounding towns, a space where they can share and have fun in company until the wee hours of the morning. the dawn. Personally, I identify two fairs: the one during the day, where you can see families, friends and the atmosphere of the horse-drawn carriages make the fairgrounds a constant bustle of people, and the one at night, where horses and coachmen used to ride, now the movement of people occupies the road and the light from the lanterns takes center stage.

Like every year, Andalucíaexperiences was a pioneer in the creation of this activity for travelers from outside not only Andalusia, but also international tourists. In this continuity, each year we increase excellence in offering quality service.

In the activity, nothing is missing, a horse-drawn carriage ride, lunch in a private booth and a guided tour of the Fair. All this accompanied by a local guide where you will discover some curiosities about the Seville fair.

Itinerary

11:30 am. Pick up at hotel/apartment by horse-drawn carriage and transfer to the fairgrounds for a ride. After the horse carriage, a guided tour of the Seville Fair, visiting the most emblematic points such as “infierno” street, La Portada and the main streets of Real.

After the visit, we head to the private booth for lunch with a drink included (rebujito, soft drink and water), lunch includes: starters, first and second courses. The origin of these booths, one of the great icons of the Fair, is in the limited space covered by awnings that dealers used to negotiate the sale and purchase of livestock. There are different sizes, from the most basic ones with one module, which are the majority, to nine with five or more modules. At the end of lunch, we will have free time to enjoy the Fair on our own or return to the accommodation.
