With an area of 1,597 km2 and consisting of 14 municipalities, this region is located in the heart of Andalusia. One of the main attractions of Subb\u00e9tica is its natural beauty. As a <strong>Natural Park of Andalusia,<\/strong> the region has great landscape and ecological wealth that makes it a true paradise for <strong>nature lovers.<\/strong> It is also a place that treasures a <strong>historical and cultural heritage of incalculable value.<\/strong> The region has numerous archaeological remains that show the richness and cultural diversity of the area, as well as a large number of monuments and baroque-style buildings that testify to the importance and splendor of the region in past times. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>After pick up <strong>in C\u00f3rdoba<\/strong>, we travel through the subb\u00e9tica to visit some of the main towns in this beautiful region. Our first stop will be <strong>Priego de C\u00f3rdoba<\/strong>, capital of the subbetica and reference of the Cordovan baroque, we will visit the old Muslim quarter through narrow streets and white squares, crossing the famous <strong>balcony of the Adarve<\/strong>, an idyllic place to disconnect and contemplate a panoramic view of the region. We continue with the visit to the <em>Fuente del Rey.<\/em> This<\/span> 139 pipes flow from the fountain, many of them with stone masks of ghostly faces. Declared a National Monument<\/p>\n<p>In the same area as the Fuente del Rey is the Fuente de la Salud. Legend has it that this was the place where <strong>Alfonso XI<\/strong> set up his camp. Its origin was due to the need to channel the spring that supplies the population. It was built by Francisco del Castillo in the 16th century.<\/p>\n<p>Lunch will be enjoyed in a local restaurant to enjoy the local gastronomy.<br \/>\nAfter lunch, we move to <strong>Carcabuey<\/strong> to visit the castle of the town.   <span>Throughout history, Carcabuey Castle has been a privileged place from a strategic and military point of view for the control of all communication routes in the Subb\u00e9tica region, since the roads that served as communication to the Subb\u00e9tica region converged there. five Andalusian provinces. Inside it also houses the hermitage of the Virgen del Castillo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>We return to C\u00f3rdoba making a stop at the <strong>Araceli hermitage<\/strong>, a special, mythical place.
